Innes McDonald
Who Am I?
I am a 15-year-old (2nd year u16) racer based in Edinburgh, Scotland who focuses on XC mountain biking and cyclocross. I have just completed a successful cross season, where I won my first British National Championships as well as finishing second in the National Trophy Series and first in the national rankings. I look forward to putting the experience I have gained through this last year's racing to achieve my goals in 2023.
This year I am delighted to be riding for the newly formed Scottish Offroad Racing Team (SORT). I am looking forward to the upcoming XC season where my main focus is the XC national championships with a secondary focus on the national series. In the next CX season, where I will be competing as a first year Junior, I am looking forward to racing CX abroad for the first time and the National CX Championships on my local course in Falkirk.
My Team
This year I will be proudly riding for the newly formed Scocia Offroad Race Team (SORT).
SORT is a Scottish based cycling team focused on cyclocross and cross country mountain bike racing at a national and international level. It is a youth/junior offroad focused race team in Scotland, aiming to be highly competitive at UK level.
